2016 Home Decor trends we loved!

We're almost there - it's getting closer to the end of this year!

So here's a look into what was trending in 2016, my picks of the trends that I truly loved this year!

Floral designs from the 1900s are back! They have found their way into today's living rooms, bedrooms and home decor!

Different textural elements in the kitchen space! Be it rustic wood, subway tiles, farmhouse sinks, white countertops and open shelving!

Having metallic finishes in gold, silver, copper, rose gold - they all add a bit of shine and glamour to your living spaces. Use it as candle holders, drawer handles, mirror frames, coffee tables.

The Shabby chic look to furniture is something thats creating a new trend in home interiors. Old style furniture with a worn out look, antique study tables and sideboards are all trendy! Mix of old and new together.

Oh yes - wallpaper is certainly the way to go with decorating your rooms! Jo-Anne Colette gets it just right! I just love the way she styles her rooms and am certainly inspired by her love for roses!

Keeping seasonal home decor around the house- for example easter eggs, fall decor!

Light calming pastel shades - All shades of grey especially Lilac grey and Rose quartz!
