Looking back ...... 2016 seems to have gone by so fast!!
Not sure if you have had a chance to reflect on the year gone by... For me the verdict is - its been an amazing 2016! Having introduced my love for interior decor and styling to all of you, that has been full of excitement, learning and fun. I loved writing about trends, creative ideas and sharing useful tips with all of you.
I have so far managed (mostly late nights) after juggling my world, working full time and being a busy mum, I must say it has not been easy - but I am so excited to keep writing - I JUST LOVE IT!
I am just amazed at how much I have learnt in just 5 months! And I have slowly started finding my creative niche... making me realise that I need to persevere even more and stamp my own unique mark.
I feel a sense of gratitude having come across new people that sincerely follow my blog and Instagram page, new collaborations and brands that I absolutely love and who have believed in me and supported me as a beginner.

A fresh start to this year, full of energy and so much excitement. This year with a focus on learning, inspiring, creating and most importantly mindfulness...
If you have any personal aspirations, NOW is the time to make it happen.
Don't wait for tomorrow or few months or next year. Just go ahead and do it now. Time is something that is so valuable, remember it waits for no one. If you have been wanting to read a novel or a book and have never found time to read, then pick up that book and get reading. If you have been wanting to take out some "me time" , just take a break and do it. If you have a wish-list for quite some time then go ahead and tick off a few things from it.
Just pursue your dreams and follow your heart in whatever you want to do. And don't let anyone shoot down your plans. Surround yourself with your supporters, let your mentor or mentors guide you and seek inspirations from things you love.

I feel grateful and humbled to know that I have followers who love my work and have provided me with some awesome feedback.
It's true hard work always pays off in the end!
Personally, I have a few things that I will be sharing with all of you this year, to be revealed as the year unfolds! La Villa Blanche has made my dream a reality!
So here's to a lot more sharing and learning, moving forward into 2017. Being a bit more mindful about myself and channelling my creativity into what I love to do.
