Now that the 2017 Block is officially over... I am already having withdrawal symptoms of what I am going to do now, without my daily dosage of blockheads and weekend room reveals! This year's favourites Josh and Elyse have finally won and probably a record winning streak that has never been done before at the Block.
Sharing my favourite picks from all the houses and for picking them based on functionality and style!
Let's start of with the winners - Josh and Elyse, especially their living and kitchen areas! Both these areas were carefully thought and executed with regards to functionality and style. The kitchen island orientation proved to be the most clever decision ever...
The kitchen and living room layouts worked well here and I just love the light that comes through the backyard into the kitchen!
Their master bedroom, with that absolutely gorgeous pink bedhead and a very spacious space with couches to relax was simply genius!
The only laundry that is light and airy with a view and has been styled ever so perfectly!
The period feature for the front facade makes this house stand out from the rest and I loved it even though the judges thought otherwise! For me, it was ever so unique and added character and old world charm!
My second favourites being Sarah and Jason - their hallway which is one of my absolute favourites, it had an awesome impact with its architectural ceiling and skylights. It's something that was really mesmerising and just drew you in!
With a subtle yet statement ledge that looked absolutely beautiful and matched so well the huge doors that added even more character to their hallway!
And yes, I did fall in completely in love with this kids room that was designed and styled just right. The wallpaper being my absolute favourite. According to me this was by far the best kids room this year on the Block!
I did love Ronnie and Georgia's living and dining space - it was one cohesive space and add a touch of sophistication and style! My favourites being the fireplace and the huge dining table that works well for a family.
Wish I could have all these rooms in one perfect home!
Congratulations to all the Blockheads for having created such wonderful homes!
Can't wait for the next season!
