Welcoming Spring back home...

The sun is finally shining and it is shining bright, right here in Melbourne! We have had a beautiful blue sky and some awesome sunny days. Me looking forward to two trips in the next two months! But between my day work and home work, I have finally found some time to type this one up...

1. ADD SOME GREENERY BACK IN

Decorating your home with fresh greenery in your hallway or bringing back fresh flowers into your living rooms is a good start to spring. Make sure to display them in an unique way - recycled glass bottles or hanging old shutters with potted plants. You could use your coat rack to hang or display some plants. Make sure your entryway has a grand display of flowers!

LVB Tip - The entryway or hallway is a good starting point and then move to your living room and then bedrooms or study in that order.

2. REFRESH WITH SMALL CHANGES

Use your storage boxes as side tables and pack away all your winter decor. This storage piece alongside your couch is both functional and adds that special edge to your living space.

LVB Tip - Keep some unique pieces or DIY something - display special flora pressed in a book and then displayed in a frame.

3. PASTEL ALL THE WAY

Add decor pieces that have pastel shades to your cushions, pillow covers or curtains. Infuse flowers or pretty blossoms everywhere, thats how you know, spring has finally arrived! You can decorate using faux flowers as well they work just as well as real flowers!

Hope these quick tips help you in decorating your home for those parties and barbecues coming up!

I must say I have a few drafts already that have been waiting to be published so you shall hear from me soon, especially about my trips...stay tuned.

xoxo
